STA 0900 First Year Success Group Seminar I

This course provides extensive support and guidance to students admitted to The St. Thomas Aquinas Program (STAP) during their first year of college. Students will gain an overview on course registration, individual degree progress, campus support services and how to identify and work through transitional issues. Topics may vary, but often focus on study skills, time management, test anxiety, major exploration, study strategies, personality assessment, class preparedness and stress relief. Class is open only to first year students enrolled in The St. Thomas Aquinas Program. Pass/Fail. (Zero credit hours equivalent.)
