BUS 4600 Business Internship I
(formerly BUS 460; BUS 280 Business Internship)
Professional experience in a business organization under the guidance of participating personnel at the place of business. During this experience, the student investigates and discusses in a seminar such topics as goal setting/job analysis and training techniques. To aid the student in evaluating the internship experience, the student keeps a journal to record goals and objectives, thoughts, feelings and evaluation about the business experiences and preparation for the position. The student is required to spend a minimum of 120 hours over the semester working at the internship site. In addition, students must attend weekly class meetings scheduled over the course of the semester.
