HSL 4100 Legal Issues in Health Service Leadership

This course examines the various legal issues encountered in the healthcare environment. Topics include both state and federal laws applying to such areas as discrimination, hiring practices, ADA, malpractice, confidentiality and patient rights. Specific case examples will be utilized.
