SPA 1010 Beginning Spanish I
(formerly SPA 101)
This is an introductory course that focuses on the development of communicative proficiency in the Spanish language. This course affords students the opportunity to practice speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in Spanish, as well as to gain knowledge and understanding of the culture. Particular emphasis is placed on the systematic mastery of vocabulary grammatical structures and conversational skills. SPA 1010 is intended for students with little or no previous experience in the language.
