Internship Programs in Political Science

Students are required to spend 100 hours at the internship site and meet at least four times during the semester with the Professor. Approval of the Department Chairperson is required.

Government Internships: Matriculated students in Political Science who wish to acquire practical experience in local, state and national government may take POL 4600/POL 4610 for a maximum of six credits that may be applied to the department's credit requirements for majors. Non-majors may take up to six credits as electives. Approval of the department is required.
