CRJ 2150 Crime Scene Processing

Expectations of the public and the courts have risen dramatically over the last several years in the area of physical evidence collection and forensic identification. This course is intended to develop a fundamental knowledge of crime scene processing techniques. The course will illustrate to the student the basic activities of crime scene processing and the sequence of those activities. Topics will include indemnifying, photographing, processing and preserving the crime scene and items of evidence found in them. The course is intended to provide a foundation for the future development of such expertise through experience and continued training.
