SLP 5275 Diagnosis in Communication Disorders
Psychometric principles and practices in the assessment of populations with communication impairments will be studied. Content will include assessment of diverse populations (e.g. non-verbal, culturally diverse, preschool and school-aged children, and adults). Diagnostic principles and procedures including interviewing, testing, and report writing are emphasized. Clinical practicum in assessment should be taken simultaneously or following this course.
