CHE 1030 Chemistry in Today's World

A course in the modern cultural and environmental aspect of chemistry. Topics include drugs and medicine, food additives, household products, air, water and noise pollution, pesticides and energy resources. Two lecture hours and one 2-hour lab per week. Satisfies general education.
