MUS 3740 Music Therapy Fieldwork I
Writing-Intensive Course
Five hours/week field placement plus weekly seminars are combined to provide the student with the opportunity to integrate theory with practice while working with an experienced clinician in a setting with children or adults. Assessment, treatment and evaluation procedures and related clinical issues are explored.
Prerequisite
MUS 2720,
MUS 2730, or permission of the Undergraduate Director of Music Therapy. (MUS 2740 and MUS 2750 are phased out but allowed in place of
MUS 2720 and
MUS 2730 for students prior to 2015)
