Program Learning Outcomes

  • Students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of computer hardware and software, while also able to identify new information and recognize the different technologies used in business.
  • Students will be able to demonstrate critical thinking in problem solving and able to identify and document solutions.
  • Students will be able to identify, integrate, and apply knowledge to design, implement, and evaluate a computer-based system or process to meet the required needs.
  • Students will be able to evaluate the ethical implications of technology, while also complying with today's business, industry standards.
  • Students will be able to operate effectively in teams to achieve a common goal by providing support and constructive criticism.
  • Students will be able to develop conclusions effectively, orally, and in writing, while also applying the skills that are the focus of this program to business scenarios.

Requirements

General Education Requirements (38 Credits)

Arts and Fine Arts (6 Credits) Two out of three disciplines: ART History, MUS History or COM Speech Communication
