EDU 3551 Pre-Student Teaching in Inclusive Classrooms

This field experience will take place the semester prior to student teaching.  It will provide teacher candidates supervised experiences with different age groups within the range of grade levels and content areas for which the candidates are being prepared to teach. Teaching experiences with diverse inclusive student populations will be provided and opportunities for a gradual increase in the teacher candidate's classroom responsibilities. Teacher candidates will be under the supervision of certified cooperating teachers, as well as Molloy University Field Supervisors. Evaluations will be based on field performance. Seventy hours of fieldwork is required to complete this course. In addition, six one-hour seminars are required throughout the semester. (Pass/Fail)
