RES 3030 Clinical Concepts and Assessment
Patient care procedures, physical assessment, laboratory assessment, communication skills and professionalism in Respiratory Care, are reviewed. OSHA Blood Borne pathogen regulations covered. Topics regarding communicable diseases, personal protective gear and topics of death and dying are explained to the student and the required OSHA exams and testing of respiratory protective equipment is completed. Class will meet for minimum of 2 hours lecture and 2 hours of laboratory each week.

MAT 1150A or that an alternative transfer course has been allowed
