SOC 2010 Politics and Society

This class examines the relationship between society and politics. We will explore how social conditions influence political behavior and how political decisions influence groups and communities. Through empirical research, in-depth discussion, and theory, the course covers topics such as political inequality, social change, collective action, parties, power, policy, and democracy.
