THA 3220 Introduction to Stage Management
This course introduces actors to the practice of stage management and teaches students the protocols that are followed in the rehearsal process. The course will focus on the tasks that a stage manager performs, beginning with pre-production planning all the way through the closing of a production. The course will teach how to create production paperwork. By the end of this course, students will understand what a stage manager does and have their own production templates to run a show.
