International Students
International students must follow the regular first year student, transfer, and graduate admissions procedures, including the submission of secondary school and any previous college transcripts. Transcripts must be evaluated, and if necessary, translated, by a current National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) member and the evaluation must have been completed during the evaluator’s tenure as a NACES member. The preferred evaluators of Molloy University are World Evaluation Services (WES) and The Evaluation Company (TEC)—formerly SpanTran. Evaluations from non-NACES approved agencies will not be accepted. Evaluated transcripts must include course by course evaluations with grades and credits, grade point average(s), and US degree equivalency for them to be accepted.
For those students whose native language is not English, the TOEFL exam will be required, with a minimum score of 550 paper based, 213 computer-based, 79 internet-based exams, a 6.5 score on IELTS, 54 on the Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE) or a Duolingo English Test with a minimum score of 110.
International students who will apply for an I-20 (certificate of eligibility for F-1 status) must provide documentation of available funds and support. Funds for tuition, fees, books, housing and personal expenses are required. All required documentation must be on file and approved before an I-20 can be issued. International students can access the necessary paperwork on Molloy's website See International Education.
