Transfer Credit for PhD Nursing
The PhD in Nursing Program allows for nine (9) doctoral-level transfer credits with a grade of "B" or higher if the courses are judged equivalent to those required in Molloy’s PhD in Nursing Program. Transfer courses for the PhD in Nursing program must have been completed at an accredited institution within five (5) years to be considered for transfer. Courses submitted for transfer credit are evaluated individually relative to program requirements and the student's plan of study. The course must either be duplicative of courses required within the program and/or congruent with the student’s focus for cognates that support the dissertation. All transfers of credit must be approved by the Director of the PhD in Nursing Program and the Office of Research, Scholarship, and Graduate Studies. A student requesting transfer of credit should submit the request, an official copy of the transcript, and a copy of the course syllabus to the Director of the PhD in Nursing Program.
