Dual/Combined Degree Policy

Guidelines for Billing of Combined Degree Education Programs

Students classified as undergraduate and registered for at least 12 credits (it may be a combination of undergraduate and graduate credits), will be charged the full time flat undergraduate tuition rate. (Spring and Fall) Students classified as graduate students will be charged the per credit rate of tuition. (Spring and Fall)

Summer and Winter Intersession courses are billed at the per credit rate appropriate for the course level. (GR at the graduate rate; UG at the undergraduate rate)

PLEASE NOTE: Students must follow the Education Progression Grid for their major- See EDU advisor 

Financial Aid Notes:

  • Undergraduate students may be eligible for TAP.

  • The Pell Grant will be prorated for students classified as undergraduate and taking a combination of undergraduate and graduate credits. (The Pell Grant can only be applied to undergraduate courses.)

  • Students classified as undergraduates may be eligible for undergraduate loans.

  • Students classified as graduates may be eligible for graduate loans.

  • Institutional Aid/Scholarships only apply when students are classified as undergraduate and full time.
