NUR 5931 PMHNP: Diagnostics and Therapeutics I

This course focuses on managing clients experiencing acute or chronic mental and behavioral health problems. Students will build upon prior courses and critically analyze patient care needs as a primary psychiatric provider. Differential diagnostic skills and modalities of individual therapy will be explored. Application of the Molloy Humanistic Nursing Framework will focus on health promotion, health restoration and rehabilitation. 45 lecture hours per semester.
