NUR 6501 Nursing Education Practice: Roles, Policies & Standarrds
This course provides an overview of the current state of educational practice within higher education in nursing. Transformation of nursing education during this emerging knowledge era is explored through documents providing direction. Students will analyze the expectations for preparation for nursing education both clinically and academically. Foundations for current nursing education standards and accreditation will be analyzed for their utilization by faculty. Transformation of nursing education during this emerging knowledge era is explored through documents providing direction in this arena. Transition to the role of academic instruction and socialization will be explored.
