NUR 6800 Measurement in Research
This cognate offers students a foundation in the area of measurement in research for nursing and related disciplines. There will be a broad view of psychometrics which will include survey, observational, biological and computer-based methods used to operationalize research variables. Additional foci include critical evaluation of pertinent instrument development literature and selection of appropriate existing instruments. Students will have direct experience with instrument development and piloting.
