Equivalencies for SBL and SDL Courses Policy

The Ed.D. program has determined certain courses leading to Molloy’s advanced certificates at the post master’s level for School Building Leader (SBL) or School District Leader (SDL) may be considered equivalent to specified Ed.D. program requirements. A minimum grade of “B” or better is required for these courses to be considered. The maximum credits needed as Cognates is six. Excess credits cannot be applied elsewhere. Students with post master’s SBL or SDL credits from other institutions may have their credits evaluated to be considered as transfer credits into the SBL or SDL programs. All credits are reviewed and subject to approval by the Associate Dean and Director of the Ed.D. Program.
