Online and Hybrid Courses

Please note that Molloy University has developed online and hybrid courses for some graduate programs. Current approved course definitions (as of April 2023 policy): Online Asynchronous – All course content is delivered online with no required virtual or instructional site meetings. Online Synchronous – All course content is delivered online with scheduled virtual meetings during all class sessions. Hybrid – A course that combines traditional on-site meetings with asynchronous online/distance learning. Alternative course definitions may include: Hybrid Synchronous – A course that combines traditional on-site meetings with virtual synchronous meetings. Online Mixed – A course that combines asynchronous learning with virtual synchronous meetings.
