Master's Programs in Education

The New York State Education Department has final authority to establish criteria for teacher certification. The Molloy University School of Education adheres to all New York State Education Department criteria for teacher certification. Candidates are required to fulfill the requirements in all programs leading to teacher certification as stated in the Molloy University Catalog.

All programs in Graduate Education are blended programs. Courses offered in hybrid delivery will be noted each semester on the published course listing.

Molloy University is currently pursuing accreditation of its educator preparation programs by the Association for Advancing Quality in Educator Preparation (AAQEP). Pursuant to §52.21 of the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education, the educator preparation programs offered by Molloy University are considered to be continuously accredited for purposes of meeting the New York State requirement that all such programs maintain continuous accreditation.
