Mandated Workshops for Teacher Certification

The following New York State Education Department and Molloy University mandated Workshops are offered at Molloy University through the Continuing Education Division. These Workshops are necessary for teacher certification:

• Training in the Identification and Reporting of Child Abuse and Neglect
• School Violence Prevention and Intervention
• The Dignity for All Students Act (DASA)

The following workshop must be completed by individual's who pursue Students with Disabilities (SWD) certification:

• Coursework or Training in the Needs of Children with Autism
