EDU 6140A Dissertation Writing Seminar
This doctoral writing seminar will introduce students to foundational knowledge and skills for the successful preparation of written scholarly products. Students will learn to distinguish between the purpose of academic writing and other forms of writing (e.g., technical writing, professional reports, journalism, creative writing). Students will be exposed to different academic writing genres and begin to identify and develop their unique academic voice. Designed as a companion course for EDU 6140 and 6120, this course will provide opportunities for students to refine their academic voice and writing style by getting formative feedback toward writing assignments that will be submitted for the two companion courses.** This course will be graded as a Pass/Fail
