CSD 6300 Instrumentation and Software for CSD Research
A number of research tools used in CSD research involve the use of complex instrumentation (hardware) and software. This course will be useful for students interested in pursuing an area in CSD that involves collecting and analyzing research data that requires specialized equipment and instrumentation. The course will focus on basic understanding, navigation and maintenance of instruments and software used in CSD research. The course will also emphasize methods of problem solving that can be generalized across a variety of research methods involving instruments. Please note the specific instruments included in the syllabus will vary depending on student needs identified at the time of course offering.
