Classification of Students
A student’s classification depends upon the number of credits earned. To be ranked as a sophomore or above, a student must have met all entrance requirements and submitted official transcripts for all transfer schools. Non-matriculated students not working on a degree will be classified as non-degree.
Bachelor's degrees at Molloy University require a minimum of 120 credits. Some programs require more credits to complete all requirements. This means a full-time student needs to complete 15 to 16 credits each semester to achieve graduation in 8 semesters. Students in the Five Year Combined Education Programs can complete these programs in 10 semesters. These students will be considered graduate-level master's seeking students in their fifth year.
