NUR 5402 Nursing Leadership: Improvement Strategies

In this course, students apply a systems-thinking approach to examine how organizational dynamics, quality improvement initiatives, care delivery models, patient safety practices, professional accountability, a culture of inquiry, emerging technologies, strategic leadership, and knowledge management influence organizational effectiveness. Students also explore models of quality improvement, patient safety, and the development of a culture of inquiry. A clinical practicum provides opportunities to integrate and apply these concepts in practice.
