NUR 5571 AGPCNP: Practicum in Primary Care I
This clinical course provides students with the opportunity to collaborate with an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner or Physician preceptor. Students participate in focused comprehensive physical assessments, treatement protocols, and collaborative practice. Primary care will be provided to clients in a variety of settings. Students are expected to participate within the guidelines of the preceptor’s protocols. Clinical practice activities are designed to develop advanced practice competencies. (Pass/Fail Practicum). Seminar and 200 clinical hours/semester.
