NUR 5531 PMHNP: Practicum in Primary Care III
This culminating course will provide students the opportunity to further expand their role as an advanced practice nurse in psychiatry. Students, in preceptored situations with a PMHNP or psychiatrist, may choose a specialty area such as: adult, adolescent, geriatric, dual diagnosis and chemically dependent populations. Clinical practice may include the role of primary provider, consultation/liason, health restoration and rehabilitations (Pass/Fail Practicum). Seminar and 200 clinical hours/semester.
