Length of Time to Complete Requirements for the PhD Nursing

A student has a period of nine (9) years after admission to complete program requirements. A student must be admitted to candidacy within five (5) years after admission to the doctoral program and at least one (1) academic year before the anticipated date on which the degree is to be conferred. The student must complete all program requirements within four (4) years following admission to candidacy. Any variation in this must be approved in writing by the PhD in Nursing Program and Office of Research, Scholarship, and Graduate Studies.
