EDU 5240 Diverse Abilities and Needs of Students in Inclusive Classrooms Birth-Grade 2, Childhood 1-6 and Adolescence 7-12

This course examines key issues related to the education of students with special academic and/or social needs; physical or emotional challenges; cultural, social or economic differences. Special attention is given to teaching strategies, which create and foster environments conducive to the affective and cognitive development of all students in the regular education classroom. This course will focus on the creation of unit plans which are supported by learning segments designed collaboratively by teams. 

Note: You will be required to collaborate and meet with classmates outside of the designated class time to complete a required group project in all modalities of this course (in-person, synchronous, asynchronous).
