EDU 5650 Teacher as Researcher in Diverse Classrooms

In this course, students will conduct and analyze research that will contribute to their understanding of scholarship in the field of education. Students will acquire a set of tools that will help them learn to design and implement a research project. Students will implement their proposed methodology, collect data, and summarize results. They will explore the implications and impact of their study within the field of Education. The use of technology for a variety of purposes will be essential in the development, implementation, and presentation of the research. Course credit is contingent upon the individual development, completion, and presentation of the final research paper. Both whole class instruction and individual consultation with the instructor will be scheduled.
