EDU 5282 Curriculum, Content, Practices and Environmental Issues for Teaching

This course of study is designed to examine how educators can work with an existing curriculum to create adaptations and accommodations to meet the needs of students with disabilities. Additionally, curricula created specifically for students with disabilities are explored. A fundamental basis of what is curriculum and designing aspects will be presented so that student can apply the information in this course to planning and creating curriculum. Reading, writing and fundamentat mathematics content programs will comprise the main area of exploration in curriculum along with strategic curriculum.
