EDU 5563 Student Teaching Early Childhood: Nursery, PK, Kindergarten, Grades 1-2 (2 Placements)
Student Teaching must be completed in the final semester of the teacher preparation program. Teacher candidates are required to follow a full-time teaching schedule in an early childhood setting under the direct supervision of a cooperating teacher from the field and the college supervisor. This full-time field experience will be in nursery, pre-k, kindergarten, or grades 1-2. During this student teaching experience, teacher candidates will videotape and develop a portfolio to promote reflective practices.
