EDU 5562 Student Teaching Childhood (Grades 1-3 and 4-6) (Five Year Program)
Student Teaching must be completed in the final semester of the teacher preparation program. Student teachers are required to follow a full-time teaching schedule in an elementary school under the direct supervision of a cooperating teacher from the field and the college supervisor. This full-time field experience will be in grades 1-3 and Grades 4-6. During this student teaching experience, student teachers will videotape and develop a portfolio to promote reflective practices.
